HouseHippo (pics on request)'s Story

Estimated 3 years old, Smart, loyal, needs a home with good human people who will pay attention to her and help gain confidence. Has potential to become an extremely loyal companion to 1 or two people, possibly a family- someone who loves to smoosh a good snoot, in the best ways.

Ready to retire from being used as a puppy machine, now ready to find someone who loves a big girl and wants a dog constantly as close as your shadow, has a secure yard and time to put into a rescue dog to prove humans do care. Active, not overly hyper but will seek attention, walk and playtimes 3-4 times a day should suffice. You'll get your steps in but not work your legs off. Learning what toys are and appropriate chewing is now that someone cares to be sure she isn't a trash goblin, with food security and attentivness.

VERY easy to love and VERY hard to walk away from. You'll see if we do a Meet & Greet.

Learning how good life can be with the right people, loves treats and to lay on beds or a cozy spot by a fire. Will make eye contact on walks and eager to learn positive attitudes. Absolute definition of puppy dog eyes.

Good with other dogs but a tad food insecure. Cats? Nah, not her cup of tea. Face licks? YES! We LOVE face licks and being an 80 pound lap dog!

**photos on request as this dog came from an abuse case. Send an email to tworiverspawws@gmail.com with interest and complete an adoption application for a meet and greet.
