HOPE's Story

Meet Hope!

Hope is a 2-year-old Min Pin/Chihuahua mix, around 15 lbs or less, and one very sweet little girl. She was found as a stray in the scorching Odessa heat and gave birth to her babies in the shelter. Thankfully, Hope and her pups made it to a loving foster home, where she was an amazing mama.

Now Hope is officially retired from motherhood and ready to be somebody's baby! She's potty trained with pads, a doggie door, or by politely waiting at the door to go outside. She loves warm beds, hideaways, cozy snuggles and being close to her person. Hope absolutely loves squeaky toys and collecting them and carrying them back to her bed.

She may not win any beauty contests, but Hope has a heart of gold and is eager to love you. She gets along grandly with other dogs; we don't know about cats or children (no children are in the foster home presently). But, as with any dog and children, slow movements and introductions are always best. Women win her over quickly; gentlemen, you'd better come prepared with chicken, but it doesn't take much to win her over. She is just as sweet as can be and is always happy to see you.

Hope is ready for her forever home—and she's hoping it's with you!

Adoption fee includes spay, microchip, vaccinations.
