Someone certainly only wants to be by you, snuggle bug! Hook is estimated to be about 6 months old and weighs 28 pounds. Here are a few nice facts about him:

Likes to be close
Affectionate
Shy, timid nature
Curious, seems open to new things, just lacks experience
Easily startled
Loves treats and takes them ever so gently
Likes his chin lightly rubbed
Soulful, loving brown eyes
Takes a little time to trust and warm up to you
Thinks it is fun to look at himself in the mirror
Hard to take his picture because he only wants to be touching you
Needs a home where any children are calm, respectful and at least 8 years old
A family that has the time and patience to provide as much positive socialization out in the world to build his confidence is just what he needs

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Hook would love to meet them. He has a timid, submissive approach with other dogs, but is open to friendly interactions and seems to start to open up after a little bit. Another dog in the home may really help with building Hook’s confidence.
