Found abandoned on the side of McIntosh Road with her seven tiny puppies, just three weeks old, this incredible mama had clearly been doing everything she could to keep her babies safe despite impossible circumstances. All eight were covered in fleas and in need of care, but thanks to a timely rescue and veterinary treatment, they’re now on the road to a much brighter future.<br/><br/>In honor of where they were found, the litter was lovingly named the “Apple” crew—and their devoted mom became Honeycrisp.
