Meet Honey Do!<br/><br/>Honey Do was adopted 1/15/2011. Her new home is in Texarkana Texas. <br/><br/>Honey Do is a female Poodle Shih Tzu Mix. Her vet birthday guess is 1/4/2010 and she weighs 13.30 pounds. Honey Do visited the vet clinic 1/5/11 to receive her spay, shots with rabies, occult heartworm tested negative, fecal tested positive for hookworms, worming medicine given and micro chipped. She started Heartguard Plus for heartworm prevention and having Frontline placed for flea control. Honey Do is ready for adoption.<br/><br/>Honey Do was rescued 1/4/11 after being found weeks prior in Bowie County Texas as a stray. A kind human took her in, unable to find the owner. This rescue received a call to help Honey Do find a home.<br/><br/>Honey Do is a total sweetheart. She is a little shy at first meeting me loves to cuddle. Honey Do does like to explore the yard and is friendly to all K 9's. All animals for adoption are rescued from shelters or owner surrenders. Every JTR rescued animal is fully vetted and 100% healthy prior to adoption. Puppies under 4 months old receive their shots from a DVM. A spay/neuter contract is required for adoption. The vetting of an adult animal includes spay/neutered, shots with rabies, heartworm and parasite tested. Treatment of heartworms, dentals, cherry eye repair, mange, parvo exposure and broken limbs are some examples of what is done to save lives. This application asks for general information about the adopter, adopter’s family, other current and prior pets and previous veterinary care. If you have never had a family pet before, follow up veterinary calls will be made during the year to insure the animal is being well cared for. Home visits are required unless the distance is too far for JTR or JTR’s contacts. Pictures of the home and common ground are required. Once the application is approved the adopter may meet and or adopt any of JTR's animals. A signed adoption contract is required.
