Honey's Story
Honey's story is a sad one indeed.

Honey was the k-9 daughter of a wonderful 97 year old lady who was the neighborhood grandma in her area.

Days passed and no one saw grandma, but they heard the dog barking in the house, so a neighbor knocked on the door and got no response. Thus, fearing the worst she phoned grandmas son and asked that he come over right away.

Well, it seemed that grandma had a stroke three days prior and was stuck in bed unable to move for three days. Honey was trying to get help by barking but no one listened to her.

Grandmas family said they had to put grandma in a home as she could no longer care for herself, thus Honey was left to go to the shelter, BIUT a kind neighbor asked if she could have Honey and find her a good, loving home. They agreed happily.

Honey is a terrific companion dog, she is loving, kind hearted, affectionate and sweet a can be. She will follow you all around ALL the time as she hates to be alone. She has to be the center of the universe....and she is...{Or at least we let her think so...}

Honey adopted a best friend here at the rescue as well, so please consider adopting Grunt as well to keep this happy couple together. {Please read Grunts bio as well.}

So, if your looking for a very sweet companion who will adore you and be your shadow, please send us an e/mail immediately and we will send you an online application for Honey..{And Grunt too>>>}

Honeys adoption fee is $500.00 as she is a purebred.

You might ask why our adoption fee is higher for the purebreds, and the answer is very simple. Purebreds are in much higher demand and the rescue is able to ask more money from the adoption of the purebreds thus being able to apply that money to the rescue and life saving of many more animals.

So with the adoption of Honey you will be saving many many lives as well as finding your new best friend
