Say Hello to Honey Butters (Honey)!

Honey is a beautiful 10 month old German Shepherd and Lab mix with some chow in her is our guess. At 51 lbs, she's just about done growing. Once she fills out completely, we expect her to be somewhere between 55-60 lbs.

Honey loves to play! At her foster's house, she has 3 other dogs and older kids to play with and does great with them all. She hasn't been tested with cats, so a meeting would be required to see how she did. We expect she would be curious. Honey has the typical energy of a young dog. She loves going for walks, playing with the other dogs in her foster's home, and taking naps. She is working on learning some basic commands like sitting before eating and learning not to put her paws up on people. Because of this we are recommending that she go to a home with older children. She loves treats and is food motivated which will making training her super easy. Honey is very affectionate and loves to be pet and snuggle. She LOVES people!

Honey is completely housebroken crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate all through the night! If you are looking for a sweet and lovely dog to complete your family, Honey could be just the girl for you!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.
