BEAUTIFUL HONEY BUN IS LOOKING FOR A HEART TO STEAL AND A FUREVER HOME OF HER OWN!!!
Honey is an 8 old female mixed breed that lives up to her name! She loves all people and is as sweet as honey! She is a petite little girl at 46lbs. Judging by her condition when she entered the shelter Honey wasn't well cared for and was a puppy making machine! She entered the shelter on 3/16/19 and was found as a stray wandering the streets of New Port Richey forced to fend for herself. I suspect, once Honey's owners were done with her and she couldn't provide them with any more puppies, she was left to survive on her own. This girl was super sick with pneumonia when we pulled her from the shelter. Her condition made you want to cry for her! She just looked completely miserable. But Honey is a fighter and she is fully recovered! The one thing that never changed through all of this is her love of people and her sweet and gentle disposition! Honey is spayed, microchipped and current on all her vaccines. She walks very well on a leash, and is a very easy going, lower energy girl. I suspect she had lived in a home before she was found, as she knows the comforts of a home, she knows come, sit and gently gives you both paws. She is also a big fan of treats! Her absolute favorite activity is being a velcro dog. She just wants a lap to lay in and to soak up all your love! Because I suspect Honey may have been forced to breed, she is not a fan of other dogs and would do best as the only pet in a home. She does well in her crate and is completely housebroken.
