Honey Badger's Story
Available in Denver

Sweet Honey Badger is our favorite girl. If there was one word to sum up this girl it’s resilient. She is an 8 month old Aussie/shepherd type mix - we think she’ll be about 45 pounds full grown. She came to us after she had been rescued in New Mexico- where it was discovered she had been shot two or three times. They noticed she had a lot of nasal discharge and upon veterinary examination they saw a hole on the roof of her mouth. After X-rays two bullets and several fragments were found around her neck. One hole in her nose, one in her palate, and one on her shoulder. One can only imagine what had happened. How this girl is still so sweet, we just don’t know. She is a little timid when she first meets you, but quickly warms up and is always wagging her tail.

If interested in adopting Honey Badger please send in an adoption application as the first step towards adoption or feel free to reach out with any questions www.soardogs.org
