I've also been referred to as a whirling dervish. I don't really care what you call me, so long as you pick me up and cuddle me... one of my favorite activities.

I've been having lots of fun in my foster home. There are quite a few other beagles, so I have so many friends to play with. We run around in the fenced yard, hang out together, and enjoy community naps. Of course, not all these dogs are good at sticking to a schedule. I am a morning dog, but sometimes not everyone is awake. So, it's my job to wake up everyone. Good morning, time to rise and shine, we have lots of things to do and meals to eat! I do get excited at mealtimes.

I am definitely a high energy dog. I tend to get zoomies in the evening and will even run up and down the stairs. This is fun!! But, I don't want you to think that I'm not serious when necessary. I am making great progress on house training and am already crate trained. I also know the commands "sit," "stay, and "come." Well, sometimes I come. Like most beagles, I have selective hearing!

Riding in the car - I guess I do pretty well tethered to the seat belt. I usually ride quietly. I have gotten carsick a couple times, but I'm sure the more I ride, the more I will get used to it.

I am an independent girl who can find entertainment by chewing paper towel rolls, gloves, or socks. My foster mom says (in her stern voice) I shouldn't do that. I disagree. I think she should try it, then she would know what a blast it can be. While I am independent, I also like to be involved in whatever is going on in the house. What are you doing? Can I play, too?

f you are an active family looking for an absolute sweetheart to add to your pack and share your life, please think about having me join your family. I know we will have so much fun together. Finding a home with my very own humans and beagle brother or sister will be a dream come true. WHO WE ARE B.O.N.E.S. is an all-volunteer organization with a mission to rescue, re-home, and provide necessary medical care to beagles in need throughout the New England Area. We endeavor to improve the quality of life for beagles in New England through outreach and education programs. We do not have a shelter for you to visit; our beagles are in foster homes where we can provide a better evaluation, as well as respond to their individual needs. All of our beagles are temperament tested, spayed/neutered, and up to date with all vaccines. B.O.N.E.S. is always looking for volunteers! If you love beagles and want to help, now is your chance. We need folks to do home visits, transports, be foster homes or help with clerical work. If you are interested in helping beagles and are in the New England area, contact us at: Email: volunteers@bonesbeagles.org ADOPTING A BEAGLE Please visit our web site at http://www.bonesbeagles.org/?page=adopt/process.html#process for an adoption application and for more information on our process! We do not accept applications for specific beagles, but rather do an approval process first. You are then matched with a beagle that meets your lifestyle and family needs. If you agree, you can meet the selected beagle and ensure that it is a match.
