Honey's Story
Meet Honey, a 1-year-old Rottweiler mix with the softest eyes and the sweetest heart. For most of her short life, Honey lived on a chain. When Animal Control responded to a welfare check, they found her and her sister outside in poor conditions during the freezing cold. Thankfully, her owner chose to surrender her so she could finally have a chance at the life she deserves.

And despite all of that? Honey is still exactly what her name says she is.

She is gentle. She is loving. She is shy when first meeting new people, but is a sweet girl once she learns she is safe with you. You can almost see her figuring out, day by day, that she doesn’t have to worry anymore. That warmth isn’t temporary. That hands can be kind.

Honey is still young and learning what it means to be a family dog. She’s soaking up attention, enjoying soft beds, and discovering that walks are a lot more fun when you’re not tethered to one spot. She’ll thrive with a patient, loving home that’s ready to show her what security and consistency feel like.

She doesn’t need perfection.
She just needs someone who will never put her back on a chain again.

If you’re ready to give Honey the fresh start she’s been waiting for, come meet her. This sweet girl is more than ready to trade survival for love.
