Honey's Story
Are you looking for a sweet, soft pup that loves the outdoors? Look no further than Honey! She's gentle and loving. Estimated to be about 7 months old, she's a mixed breed girl, who likely never lived in a home before coming into rescue. She's slowly decompressing and coming out of her shell and she's just a gem. <br/><br/>Her foster says: "Honey fits this girl so well. She is as sweet as Honey and just as pure. She is about 7 months old. We don't have many good pictures of her yet, because when she is in the house she feels a little out of place, but outside she is right at home. Today is the first day she has decided to lay in a dog bed out of her kennel. She sleeps all night in her kennel and is very quiet when she is put to bed. Honey is learning how to walk on lead, does really well on a long line, and is practicing how to ask to go out. We have only had one accident inside, but she is still learning. She is a fast learner. She does AMAZING with other dogs and is exceptionally soft with my senior girl Willow. She loves to play but is not a ruff and tumble kinda girl. Honey would do great with kids once she knows them as she is very, very shy. This girl is the sweetest thing and very very smart. This girl is going to make a great addition to any family."<br/><br/>If you think you might be interested in adopting Honey or just want to get pre-approved to adopt through us, please fill out an application on our website.
