Homer Mountain Cur Aurora, IL

Homer is a 2 year old mountain cur mix, weighing in right around 50 pounds. His beautiful brindle coloring definitely makes this handsome boy stand out in a crowd. He has an incredibly sweet personality and gets along amazingly well with all people, kids, other dogs and even cats. Homer came to us after his former owner could no longer care for him due to health reasons, and would do best in a calm, quiet environment. He is very laid back and relaxed, and just needs someone to love and look to for leadership. He seems happiest outside, and would rather snooze in the sun on a warm patch of grass than climb on the furniture. He enjoys walks outdoors and loved exploring nearby parks and trails in the woods.
