Apparently I'm a "Senior Citizen"... Excuse Me?! Meet Homer!<br/><br/>Listen... I don't know who started this rumor that I'm a senior, but I have a few opinions about it.<br/><br/>Sure, I'm probably around 10-11 years old (give or take... who's counting anyway?), and 21lbs....and yes, I have a few distinguished lumps and bumps that come with a life well-lived. But they don't slow me down one bit! I still enjoy exploring the yard, hanging out with my dog friends, and soaking up every bit of love my humans are willing to give.<br/><br/>I'm a neutered Jack Russell mix with excellent house manners. I'm potty trained, I come when I'm called (because I'm a gentleman), and I absolutely adore my people. I also love other dogs and would be happy to have a canine retirement buddy.<br/><br/>I'm untested with cats, and while I love people, I'd probably be happiest with older kids since my hips can be a little sensitive. No wild WWE matches for this handsome guy, please.<br/><br/>Here's the thing about us "senior" dogs... everyone focuses on the number, but they forget what comes with it. We already know how to be good dogs. We've outgrown the puppy shenanigans, we appreciate naps just as much as adventures, and we know that the best part of the day is simply being with our people.<br/><br/>In fact, I think I'd make the perfect retirement companion.
