Holly's Story

HOLLY
DOB: 9/20/25
Breed: Aussie mix
Sex: Female spayed
Weight: 38 lbs
Location: Buffalo

Holly is a smaller medium sized people-loving pup who always wants to be right by your side. She thrives on companionship. At no fault of her own, Holly was returned to foster care. Holly is crate trained though It's not always her favorite place (she'd much rather be with her people). She is doing great with potty training. She will need help learning how to alert her humans in a new home. Holly loves other dogs and enjoys having friends to play with though would be perfectly fine alone. She has cats in her foster home and does well with them. She also does well with kids. She's a smart girl who already knows sit down and knows her name. Holly will thrive with a fenced in yard as, she can jump a 4ft fence (at least 6 ft) and lots of snuggles. She would be a great agility dog as she is able to jump baby gates with ease. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who wants to be part of your family, Holly might be your perfect match!

If you are interested in adopting Holly please apply today at https://www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you're pre approved!!

716 Promoting Animal Welfare & Safety (716 PAWS)'s Adoption Policy
Currently we only adopt out within a 1 hour commute from the Buffalo Niagara airport. We accept any application outside of that area if the family has no other pets and is willing to come to buffalo for meet and greets with the dogs. If an applicant has other pets it is on a case by case basis weather the foster is willing to travel for the meet and greet. We will consider processing applications outside of Western New York and Rochester if the family has no other dogs in the home and is willing to come to Buffalo for the meet and greet. We do not provide transport services to out of town adopters. We do not adopt within Canada. What's Required to Adopt Required vetting for dogs: They must be spayed or neutered Be current on their rabies, distemper/parvo. Kennel cough/Bordatella is highly recommended but not required for dogs. If current animals are not vaccinated and spayed/neutered, the application will be denied unless there is a valid reason that it was medically necessary not to perform the procedure. Required vetting for Cats:? They must be spayed or neutered Be current on their rabies PLEASE NOTE: You must be 21 or older to adopt. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers for processing. First we will contact your vet reference if you current have pets living in the home or have had pets within the past two years. Next we will be contacting your personal references. Next is the home check. This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process, review the home, the yard and answer any questions you may have. Once the home visit is completed and if you are approved, you will be notified and can then express interest in a dog.
