Holly's Story
Foster to adopt home needed!

Holly is very timid and will need a special home to provide her with lots of TLC and give her time to settle in

Everyone, we'd like to reintroduce you to Holly, a sweet Hound/Pointer mix that came to us last Fall and has been trying to find confidence, security and comfort since. She was in a shelter as a wee puppy and not getting the care/socialization she needed. Holly is about 7 months old now and is still looking for her forever home. This petite pup is ~25# and will likely be 40# full sized and is very sweet, but shy.

Hollys foster family did a little write up that we'd like to share:
Hey everyone my rescue name is Holly although my foster family lovingly calls me Lala, Lala girl and sometimes chicken little because my bravery is directly related to if I have any dog friends to rely on. I am 99% housebroken and only have an occasional ooopsie that I can’t blame on my foster siblings because they are bigger than me. When I first came to stay with my foster family I was scared all the time as it was my first time being in a home setting. I’ve progressed a lot since then but still have some work to do. I prefer a quieter home as I get more nervous when there’s a lot going on. I haven’t been able to do much obedience training yet but I do know crate, let’s go out and no ( this is my least favorite). I am gentle when taking treats and love toys. Did I mention how cute I am?!?!?! I like to try playing with my foster cat frienemies and when they have had enough of me I try to play from afar where their sharp claws can’t reach me. I would love a permanent home where I can continue working on my confidence and if I can have fur siblings, it would be all the better.

Won't you help us find Holly her place in someone's heart and home?

An adoption donation of $500 is being asked to cover a portion of her veterinary and care fees if you decide to adopt, but foatering is free. She has been examined, vaccinated, treated for intestinal and external parasites and spayed.

Due to her size, temperament and age, foster or foster to adopt requirements are:
-Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY.
-Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.
-A home with another likesized dog or larger is strongly recommended to help her feel more secure and to continued to learn to be a dog. Dog saavy cats should be ok as well.
-Like all pups, she will need patience and consistency at home so she can grow into the best pup she can be
-Homes with children over 12 years old should be ok since she is a very shy
-A home with a fenced yard is being sought so she can be kept secure and is less likely to flee if scared
-Willing to have current dogs/family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure he is an acceptable match.
-Having time available to care for, socialize and start training of a new pet.

Apply to foster to adopt today! https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/pet-adoption-application-form

12/5/24

Holly, Mollie and Ollie are ready for foster to adopt homes!

This sweet trio came to us about one month ago from another shelter, where they had no interest, were scared and suffering from some health issues.

We've taken time to get them into better health and now we'd really like to get them out of boarding and in to homes so they can really start their new lives

They are likley some sort of Jack Russel Terrier or Feist mix ~5 months old and 15-20# at this time. Molly is the smallest at just 15# while Ollie and Holly are nearly 20# at thia time. We think they will be ~30-35# full grown. They are all sweet but shy so they would benefit from TLC, socialization and starting some training in new foster or foster to adopt homes. Please help us to get them into homes for the holidays

Can you find it in your heart and home to show these sweet souls that their lives matter??? Fill out our jotform applocation today to foster or foster to adopt!

They have not been child or cat tested but since they are mostly puppies, we do not think this will be an issue. Due to their size, children over 5 years old will be recommended at this time until we get to know them better. A foster to adopt radius of 80 miles is required in case they will need follow-up up care at our veterinarians office prior to adoption We think they deserve a chance, don't you?

Apply to foster to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/pet-adoption-application-form

Apply to foster only: https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/foster-application--acbs

11/15/24
Foster to adopt homes needed!

Everyone meet a few of our Southern babies that came up on a recent transport from WV. Ollie, Holly and Molly are part of a litter of puppies that had been in a southern shelter in WV for a month already . In order to give them a chance at a new life and a new home, we pulled them from the shelter that was at a "code red" state (ready to euthanize for space).

They are shy but happy and sweet pups ready to start their journey to new homes and new lives. We believe they are probably Pointer mixes, 4.5 months old and under 20#. They will likley be about 30-40# full grown. The pups will take a little while to warm up to people but have tails tucked and waggin the whole time. They are cuddlers when picked up and burrow right in to your neck if you try and befriend them. They are looking for foster or foster to adopt homes and will need work on confidence building, housebreaking and leash training in the home.

Once ready for adoption, an adoption donation of $500 is being asked to cover a portion of their veterinary and care fees, but fostering is free. They have been examined, vaccinated, treated for intestinal and external parasites and will soon be spay/neutered.

Due to their size and age, foster to adopt requirements are:
-Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY to continue their vetting as needed in the upcoming weeks.
-Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.
-They should do fine with dogs and cats in the home due to their current temperament and smaller size
-Like all pups, they will need a little patience and consistency at home so they can grow into the best pups they can be
-Homes with children over 8 years old should be ok since they are very sweet pups
-Willing to have current dogs/family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure they are an acceptable match.
-Having time available to care for, socialize and start training of a new pet.

Apply to foster to adopt today! https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/pet-adoption-application-form
