Hip hip hooray, it's Hippo! At 4 years and 9 months old, this delightful mixed breed hailing from the Navajo Nation has a heart as big as her smile. This beautiful lady is a bundle of joy and wonders, ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and endless cuddles.

Hippo loves basking in the sunshine and is always ready for a game of fetch. Yet, she's just as content sitting on your lap or lounging beside you indoors. Hippo has a knack for picking out her favorite tennis ball from the toy chest-often diving headfirst in the cutest way possible-and she expresses her joy by wiggling her adorable bobtail.

In her foster home, Hippo quickly became a beloved member, particularly bonding with the teenagers of the home, making her a fantastic companion for families with school-aged kids or older. Her foster family marveled at how quickly she embraced home life, from cozying up for TV snuggles to playing fetch tirelessly. Despite her lack of formal training, Hippo is both food and toy motivated, making her a quick learner eager to please.

Hippo is a tad picky about her canine friends, preferring friendships with calm male dogs. If you have another dog, we suggest doing a meet-and-greet with Hippo at the Nuzzles Rescue Ranch. A cat-free environment seems to suit her best.
