Hibachi's Story
Meet Hibachi! He's about 5 years old, 18 pounds, and full of personality in a compact little body.

Hibachi came to us as a stray with some pretty significant eye issues from long-term untreated dry eye. Since getting proper care and starting daily drops, his eyes have improved a lot, and he's been a total champ about the whole thing. He'll need those drops for life but he handles it way better than you'd expect. Just another part of his routine.

He does have some limited vision but it doesn't slow him down. Once he figures out his surroundings, he gets around just fine and goes about his day like nothing is wrong. He's curious, alert, and very much engaged in what's going on around him.

Hibachi is friendly right off the bat. He's quick to trust, enjoys meeting new people, and settles in easily. He does great with other dogs and has a nice, social energy without being overwhelming.

And then there's his signature move. The second he thinks belly rubs are an option, he's already halfway flipped over. He will fully commit, roll onto his back, and wait like he knows exactly how cute he is. He also loves curling up in your lap once he's done putting on his little show.

He walks well on leash, has a bit of a spunky side, and overall is just a really solid, happy dog who's easy to enjoy being around. Hibachi doesn't need anything complicated. Just someone who's okay with keeping up his eye care and giving him the attention he clearly loves. He's a little different, but in a way that makes you like him even more once you meet him! Interested in this little cutie? Please inquire today!
