Hero Shepherd Mix Westfield, NY

Handsome, but shy Hero is searching for his forever home. Hero is 2 1/2 years old. He was adopted from NCCR when he was just a puppy; but has too much energy for the family and he would escape off of their deck. Hero walks wonderfully on leash, he's housetrained and gets along with other dogs. He was crate trained, but he has done well when left alone in the home now that he's a bit older. Hero might love having a canine brother or sister; might play too hard for a small dog though. Ideally, Hero's home would be with a person or family that can provide him with the daily exercise that any young dog needs.

Hero is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $215.00. (cash or check only, we are unable to accept credit cards)

We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.
