Hercules's Story

Hercules is an incredible dog. Despite his massive size, he is gentle and easy to handle. He currently lives with two older children. He does not live with other pets, but has done very well with other dogs he has met. We would recommend a home without cats.

Hercules is affectionate and loves to go for walks. He does not need to be crated, and his bed at his foster home is a twin-size mattress. He is a big baby, and seems to get his feelings hurt if you don't pet him. He is potty-trained, and he loves to watch birds and butterflies. His biggest flaw is that no unattended sandwich is safe around this gentle giant. He does well in a home without a fenced-in yard, and uses an overhead cable tie-out.

Hercules is 130 lbs and approximately 3 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Hercules is currently finishing treatment for an ear infection. If adopted before the completion of treatment, SAR will continue to commit to care until the ear infection is resolved.
