HERCULES $400 Great Pyrenees & Labrador Retriever Mix Milwaukee, WI

Hercules is a 6-month-old, 50lb neutered male Pyrenees/Lab mix. He is a sweet, loveable, playful puppy who loves laying his head in people's laps to let you know he is waiting for neck scratches.

Hercules knows to go potty outside and is a respectful puppy who knows to keep all four paws on the floor. He does well in his crate when his foster family is away for a few hours at a time and loves his peanut butter kong while he is in there. Hercules currently lives with 2 other dogs, a cat, and a child, and does well with all of them. In fact, the cat makes him a bit nervous so he avoids her, which is okay! Hercules is still getting used to riding in a car and new noises in the home like the vacuum.

He is still learning to stay with his handler when walking on a leash but is progressing with his daily two walks a day. In between walks, he loves playing with his foster siblings, chewing on sticks in the yard, or playing with toys on his own. After playing, he settles well and will often be found sleeping with half his body hanging off his bed.

Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in Milwaukee. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$400+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$350+tax for ages 4-7
$250+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
