Hercules's Story

This beefy bubba is the very best boy! No need to worry about his bonus size, this gentle giant has excellent manners already - leash trained on a no-pull harness, housetrained, and knows his sit and down commands. For your entertainment, he is a master at catching treats! For his entertainment, he asks you get him the biggest toys you can find (horse toys could be just right!) - otherwise he will make everything into a toy. He and his super-sized toys must have a yard and that yard needs a solid, strong privacy fence.

REQUIRED: He is a strong boy who needs things to do or he will find things to do. No kids or folks with mobility issues. Strong, solid privacy fenced yard. And while, yeah, we could have photoshopped the drool out of his pictures, let's be honest...when Herc goes home, his drool is coming with him.

Est DOB: Aug 2019 * Est weight: 100+ lbs

The Animal Shelter - Calhoun County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
We are open by appointment. Please inquire before visiting the shelter to make the right match. Please only bring small children after narrowing the field to a few dogs you want to meet in the outdoor play yard. An approved application is required and most dogs will need a fenced yard. Tethering, chaining, and roaming are unacceptable. All animals are vaccinated and will be spayed/neutered and microchipped (dogs) prior to leaving the shelter. This is a real bargain, as our adoption fee of $125 for dogs and $75 for cats is much lower than the average vetting bill!
