Meet Herbie
Herbie
I’ve been asked to tell you my story and I’m glad to
do it. I’m a dog. I like having a job. There’s just one
problem. I was found running down a busy road
and I don’t remember much before that. For now,
I’ll just say a big thank you to the kind woman who
stopped for me and brought me safely here. Since
then, I’ve made lots of new Animal League friends.
One of them taught me how to “sit” on my first day!
Another time, I solved a dog puzzle and was told
that I’m as smart as I am handsome! Did I mention
I’m just 1 year old? Fun-loving and fun to have
around, I’d like to make friends with you, too. Who
knows? We might start our own story together!
