Hera's Story

Meet Hera! Hera is a 2.5-month-old, 2.32lbs, female Cavalier King Charles. Hera is a staff favorite who immediately triggers cuteness aggression, we all want to eat her right up!! Due to her young age and tiny size, she will need to eat several times a day to ensure she doesn't become hypoglycemic. Hera is a special little lady who may have some special medical care needs as she ages. Hera is suspected to have hydrocephalus, she does have a large open fontanelle as well as a dome shaped head. She does have some ventral strabismus but no other neurologic signs have been noted. To ensure she is not accidentally injured, Hera needs a child free home. Hera also has grade 1 of 4 luxaing patellas, low grade luxation is unlikely to result in lameness. Hera is currently being treated for kennel cough and responding well.

The adoption fee is $450. This includes the spay, microchip, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation, deworming and all core vaccines through puppyhood (as long as you return to us for vaccines).

If you are interested in adopting Hera, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Hera" in the subject. Please also tell us about yourself and your household.
