Hemingway Miniature Poodle Springfield, MO

Named after the great Ernest Hemingway himself, I am Hemingway, a 6 pound, 6 year old miniature poodle. Much like the adventurous spirit of the author, I approach life with vigor and determination. I am working hard on my house, crate, and leash training. And while I am still learning the ropes of training, I'm eager to please and have already picked up several new commands.A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for me since my leash manners are not yet perfected. Despite my petite stature, I am fiercely loyal and deeply devoted to my human companions. I struggle with separation anxiety and when they leave, even for a moment, I can't help but feel a sense of panic, pacing and searching until they return. I will need a family who is patient and experienced to help me move past my anxiety. And while I enjoy the company of other animals (both cats and dogs), nothing compares to the bond I share with my humans. Like Hemingway's characters, I thrive in an environment where I am surrounded by those I love. Unlike Ernest Hemingway, I won't be earning a nobel prize in literature, but I could easily win the key to your heart.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!

We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
