Helen's Story
Helen #24227 is a sweet female mixed breed weighing approximately 47lbs. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, flea/tick, wormer, and is on slow-kill for heartworms. She had a cherry eye successfully repaired when she was spayed. Helen’s colors appear different depending on the lighting. She is a very dark brindle.
Sadly she has spent 13 months in the shelter. She is estimated to be 3 years old now. She has playmates, and with proper introduction should be fine in a multi-dog home. She is quite playful and a dog with a matched energy level would be best.
She has spent time with children and men and women. No problems with any. We do not have cats and have no way to evaluate behavior with them.

All adoption donations include rabies shot, spay/neuter, and core vaccinations. The shelter does not have cats, so we typically do not know how the dogs are with cats. All breeds are guesses. If the dog is heartworm positive, the shelter will provide treatment once the dog is in your home. Please email us at haa.shelter@gmail.com for an application or stop by the shelter during open hours. Thank you for considering giving a rescue dog a new life!
