Treated for Lyme and retested clean.

Heinrich is a 2 year old German Wirehaired Pointer/English Setter mix. He was found as a stray in Northern Michigan. He is super sweet. He wants to be with his people as much as possible and loves to cuddle. He was very timid at first and still gets nervous in new places like the vet. Once he warms up he is very affectionate. We laugh that he does not respect personal space because he wants to sit right next to us and put his head in our lap or on our shoulder.

Heinrich is very playful and enjoys wrestling and sharing toys with our other young dog. He also does well with cats and with children.

He goes into his kennel nicely when asked. We are working on walking on a leash without pulling. He loves to be outside and wants to sniff everything.

If Heinrich sounds like he’d be a great fit for your household, please fill out an application!
