Hayley's Story

Meet Hayley

Hayley is a 1-year-old, 30 lb Rat Terrier mix with a fun-loving personality and a heart full of love. She’s the kind of dog who brings energy, joy, and affection into every room she enters.

This girl is super playful and always ready for a good game — especially if it involves tug-of-war (her favorite!). She loves staying active, whether that’s going on walks, playing with her toys, or just being part of whatever her people are doing.

Hayley absolutely adores people, including kids of all ages, and thrives on attention and affection. She’s incredibly friendly, loving, and always ready for pets and snuggles after she’s burned off some energy.

She does great with other dogs of all sizes and has also done well with cats, making her a great fit for a multi-pet home. She walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out and exploring.

Hayley is crate trained, though she may whine a little at first when settling in. She is potty trained as long as she’s kept on a consistent schedule with regular potty breaks.

Why you’ll love Hayley:
• Super playful and fun (tug-of-war champion!)
• Great with kids of all ages
• Dog-friendly and cat-friendly
• Walks well on leash
• Crate trained
• Potty trained with routine
• Very affectionate and people-oriented

Hayley would do best in an active home that can keep up with her playful energy and give her all the love and attention she craves. Ruff Road Revival's Adoption Policy
The first step to the adoption process is filling out our adoption application online. We then do a vet check and check character reference, followed up by reaching out to the potential adopter to answer any questions they may have. If they are still interested at that point, we have the foster reach out to them so that they can get a better feel for if it is the right fit both for the adopter and for the animal. This also gives the potential adopter a chance to either set up a meet and greet with the animal if they are local or video chat with the animal to see their personality if they are out of state. If they are local, the next step would be a meet and greet and if that goes well, they would sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee and take the animal home. If they are out of state and decide to move forward with adoption, they will then sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. We will schedule the transport and send all information to the potential adopter. The animal will receive a health certificate prior to transport and the adopter will be added to a group chat during the transport process.
