<p class="isSelectedEnd">Meet Harvey!</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">This handsome French Bulldog is about 2 years old and weighs approximately 25 pounds. Harvey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative. He has also had nares and soft palate surgerytwo very common procedures for brachycephalic (smush-faced) breeds. These surgeries help him breathe easier and live a much more comfortable life.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">Harvey is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and does well with them, but he would be perfectly happy as an only dog, too. One of his favorite things is carrying around a soft toy, and you'll often find him proudly showing off his latest treasure. He is kennel trained and has excellent house manners.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">Like many dogs, Harvey prefers to eat his meals without other dogs around. That's no problem at allhe happily eats in his kennel and does great with that routine.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">Harvey also shares his foster home with cats and does just fine with them. He has been around children as young as three years old and has done very well. He enjoys spending time exploring the fenced yard in his foster home (weather permitting, of course!) and walks nicely on a leash.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">One thing to know about Harvey: he can be a bit of a door dasher! Because of this, his future family will need to be mindful about open doors and gates to keep him safe.</p><br/><br/><p class="isSelectedEnd">Because Harvey is a French Bulldog, we do have a strict requirement that his adopter have prior experience with the breed or a an English Bulldog. These dogs are incredibly special, but they also come with unique medical and care needs. Many, like Harvey, require extensiveand often expensivemedical care to get healthy and comfortable.
