Meet Hartz! <br/><br/>Hartz is a handsome Great Pyrenees with a gentle heart and a love for the outdoors. <br/> He can be a little shy at first, but once you get him out for a walk, he’ll stick right by your side like he’s known you forever! He walks wonderfully on a leash and truly enjoys spending time outside.<br/><br/>As a true Pyrenees, Hartz would thrive in a home with a large yard and would absolutely love having a job protecting livestock or property. <br/><br/> Watching over his space is what he was born to do!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys the fresh air and would make an amazing ranch or country dog, Hartz may be your perfect match.<br/><br/>By the way, Hartz is neutered, microchipped, and current on all shots -- all ready for a new home.<br/><br/>For more information, please call Douglas County Animal Services (DCAS) at 775-782-9061. If you rent, you will be required to provide written approval from your landlord that you can have a dog. It needs to be specific, i.e. all dogs okay, no big dogs, specific breeds restricted, etc.
