Hi! I’m Hartley! I’m a happy, goofy, playful girl with a heart as big as my personality. At just 10–12 months old, I’m still young enough to believe that everything in life is exciting. A new toy? AMAZING! A tasty treat? BEST DAY EVER! Someone wants to pet me? HOLD EVERYTHING—THIS IS IMPORTANT! <br/><br/>My favorite things? Attention, affection, food, and making people smile. I’m the kind of girl who loves being loved, and I have plenty of love to give right back.<br/> I’m a smart cookie with a serious love for snacks! That makes me a wonderful candidate for training. Give me some tasty rewards, a little patience, and a chance to learn, and I think we could make a fantastic team!<br/>Now, let’s talk about my feline friends. <br/>I actually like cats! The problem? Sometimes I like them a little TOO enthusiastically. I want to play, and apparently cats don’t always appreciate my fabulous energy. Who knew? So, I’d do best with dog-savvy cats who are comfortable around playful dogs, or a home where everyone can have their own space.<br/><br/>I’ve already mastered two very important house rules!<br/> I’m crate-trained and house-trained! That’s right! Beauty, brains, AND a sense of humor!<br/><br/>I’m looking for a family who will enjoy my playful spirit, give me lots of affection, and help me continue growing into the wonderful companion I’m meant to be.<br/><br/>I was rescued in Texas and Im looking for a foster-to-adopt family in the northern states. That means you get 2 to 3 weeks to try real life together the home routine, the walks, the treats, the bones, and all the everyday things that help you know if we are truly a fit.<br/><br/>Theres no pressure in the process. If for some reason Im not the right match, my rescue will quickly find me another home so everyone stays supported and safe. Its a thoughtful way to make sure my forever family is truly the right one.<br/><br/>Transport runs every other weekend, and Ill be making my trip north soon.
