Harry's Story
Sadly, Harry recently found himself returned to Circle2 due to no fault of his own. Sometimes people don’t realize that puppies are a big commitment in many ways, and sadly, people fail them.

You know who will ALWAYS be there for any dog that comes through our rescue?! Circle2! We are happy to welcome this sweet, silly boy back into our foster program so that we can find a person or people who will commit to him for life no matter what!

It is apparent that Harry is a fun mix of herding breeds- by the looks of him we guess corgi and Aussie- and true to that heritage, this pup is incredibly intelligent and active! That said, he will need a home that gives him ample opportunity to burn that energy. Harry would do wonderfully with runners, hikers, those living a rural lifestyle (provided he’s always supervised), those who want to do doggy agility, etc.

Harry LOVES everybody! This guy enjoys the company of every human and fellow canine he meets. He would be a GREAT companion for another young, active dog. He is currently residing with cats, whom he sometimes annoys with his playful, curious antics, but it’s all in good fun!

While Harry will require training to walk well on a leash and practice the manners of a good house dog, we are happy to report that he does well in a crate at bedtime and when his humans leave the house. This, coupled with his intelligence will make him fun to train for anyone ready and willing to invest the time and love.

When it is time to settle down, Harry’s soft coat is lovely to pet while cuddling. He’s about 35 lbs, so perfectly sized to fit on the couch for said cuddles, but still sturdy enough for any adventure.

If you are interested in adopting Harry or another Circle2 critter, please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ The adoption fee of $375 will help defray the costs of the spay/neuter, vaccinations and vetting for this pup as well as others that come to Circle2.
