Harriet's Story
I'm Harriet, a 6 year old female Boxer (and Boston Terrier, and Pug, and American Bulldog). I am very friendly and good with other dogs. I adore my Foster Dad, live for mealtime, love spending time near my people, and know how to use the dog door.

My Foster Mom adds: Harriet, sweet Harriet, the lovely little tank of love! She is a perfect little tap-dancing angel. Visitors call her the most laid back dog they've ever met. Harriet is calm and collected most of the time, but at dinner time she jumps like a jackrabbit. Harriet loves to supervise video games and computer work - really anything that keeps her people near her comfy bed.

Things we have discovered:

-No single gate can contain her!

-She prefers meals on a Hobbit schedule. She gets 4 meals a day, sometimes we add green beans to keep her satisfied.

-She happily dances when it is time to eat, or when my husband comes into the room. He's clearly her favorite human in our house. Maybe if I start being the one who feeds her, or keep jerky sticks in my pockets...

-She knows how to use the dog door.

-She relishes sun beams and squishy beds. Harriet loves all Hobbit creature comforts!

-Her groomer rated Harriet an A+; a perfect angel and “a pleasure to groom”.

-Harriet is short and round, and built like a little Hobbity tank. I call her our little manatee.

********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN**********

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application.
