Plott hounds are loving and loyal, Harper is no exception. He loves a day of snuggling on the couch. He has good manners and is completely house and crate trained. Great with other dogs. He will tree cats along w squirrels and other animals. Would do well with a large fenced area and daily walks or runs. He is a big lovable baby!

Mountain Mama Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
For local adopters, the dog and potential family (furbabies included) meet and greet. If family is interested, the dog and foster will visit the potential family's home for a second visit. This is followed by an overnight stay for third visit. Family may choose to adopt any time within a week. Vet checks are included. For long-distance adopters, a virtual home visit is completed. Vet checks are completed. Foster may agree to drive up to a 100 mile radius to meet adopter; this is not a meet and greet and is for serious adopters only. Transport services are not provided, and if desired, are on the adopting family to provide.
