Harper's Story
Meet Harper, a 2.5-year-old girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s affectionate, confident, cuddly, enthusiastic, and playful—the kind of pup who dives headfirst into life and sometimes forgets just how big she is. Harper is good with dogs and kids, though smaller children may get bumped over in her excitement because, well, she’s a bit of a bull in a china shop.

Harper is house trained and will go into her crate, even if it’s not her favorite place to be. She’s still working on leash manners and tends to pull, but she’s making progress. She can be a little toy-posessive with other dogs, though she has allowed toys to be taken from her without any issue or aggression. She also sits politely before her food bowl is put down, which shows she’s got plenty of good manners mixed in with all that enthusiasm.

This fun-loving girl enjoys zoomies and a little digging in the yard, but she’s not a fan of water. Harper has shown no interest in escaping the yard, and while thunderstorms can make her anxious, she’s working on desensitization and calming chews before storms have been helping.

Harper is looking for a home that can keep up with her playful spirit, continue her training, and appreciate all the love she has to give. One thing’s for sure—life with Harper will never be boring.
