Harper A220190's Story
Harper is a shy puppy who is about 6 months of age. She is a beautiful puppy who is very sweet once she knows you. Harper comes out of her shell and becomes very playful, jumpy and mouthy like a regular puppy. She becomes a velcro puppy once she is outside of her kennel with you. Harper will need a home with a family who understands that puppies take a lot of work and time, training and patience. Potential adopters must be able to provide veterinary history showing they have owned a German Shepherd or a similar breed. She will need professional training to combat the puppy behaviors but also to help with any issues that might arise as she ages and her confidence builds. She is very mouthy and hyper right now so will be best in a home without young children.

Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done.
Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed. When asking about an animal, please provide the identification number that starts with A.
For more information, please call the shelter at 972.769.4360.
