Momma Honey was rescued as a pregnant stray in the Rio Grande Valley—just in the nick of time, right before she gave birth to 6 adorable puppies. Once she and her babies were safe and old enough to travel, they packed up and made their way to us, and we couldn’t be happier they did.<br/><br/>Honey has been an amazing mama—loving, patient, and devoted to her little ones. She appears to be a terrier mix, and while dad is unknown, her puppies look like they may have some Dauschund and/or Beagle in them. Translation: adorable, curious, and likely full of personality.<br/><br/>Also some things we’ve learned: she loves to play and chase toys and gets the zoomies quiet often but also loves to snuggle and be on your lap. She loves physical touch and is very much a shadow dog, she has also gotten the hang of potty training with only a few accidents here and there <br/><br/>If you’re looking to add a little extra sweetness to your life, now’s the time to apply.
