<p>Harold is a 6-year-old pug who's still settling into rescue, and we're really taking our time getting to know him. Between not feeling his best and adjusting to a new environment, it's hard to tell right now what's stubbornness and what's uncertaintybut we do know he's a bit of both.</p><br/><br/><p>He's working with a trainer and getting the support he needs as we learn more about him. What's clear already is that he's a good boysuper sweet and very handsome. Evergreen Pug Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process begins with an application submitted by the potential adopter. An adoption coordinator then reviews the application and conducts a phone interview to learn more about the family. If initially approved, we complete a home visit, background check, and reference check. Once fully approved, our adoption and foster coordinators work together to find the best match for the dogs in our care. Finally, a meet-and-greet is scheduled, and if it’s a good fit, the adoption contract is signed — leading to a happily ever after!
