Harley's Story
Meet Harley!

If you’re looking for a dog who knows how to have FUN, you need to meet Harley!

Harley is a happy, goofy, fun-loving boy who seems to think every day is a great day for toys, fetch, treats, and hanging out with his people. He LOVES his toys and is an absolute rockstar at fetch. He’ll happily chase that ball over and over — and BONUS... he brings it back!

When he’s not busy entertaining himself with a toy, Harley is perfectly content being your buddy. He loves hanging out with his people, whether that means curling up beside your chair while you watch TV or joining you for some playtime.

Harley has a silly, entertaining personality that is impossible not to enjoy. He’s confident, social, and happy-go-lucky, with none of the fearful or anxious behavior you sometimes see in dogs adjusting to new situations. He’s just a genuinely happy boy who seems ready to enjoy life with his people.

He has experience with kids as young as 4, cats, and both larger and smaller dogs. He’s also crate trained and does well walking on a leash for potty breaks.

And if you want to teach him something new, Harley is all in! He’s very food motivated and learns quickly, making training fun. He’s not food aggressive, and a tiny piece of hot dog is apparently enough to convince him that whatever you’re asking is a fantastic idea.

Harley is the kind of dog who will keep you laughing, keep you playing, and happily keep you company. He’s ready to find his people and have some fun!

Adoption fee is $360
Email: dogs@almosthomefoundation.org

Almost Home Foundation's adoption requirements:
(1) Be at least 21 years of age;
(2) Have the consent of all adults living in the household;
(3) Have approval from the residence owner;
(4) Have valid ID with current address;
(5) Be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home; and
(6) Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only)
*** Please note that Almost Home Foundation accepts only cash, Zelle, or checks for adoption fees; we do not accept debit or credit cards. ***
