Harley 's Story
Harley is a year old medium sized mixed breed (possibly a cattle breed mix). She's 40 lbs. She has a bobbed tail!
Harley is good with other animals although excited by cats and has only spent minimal time around livestock (contained goats, horses, pigs, chickens, free range ducks and barn cats). Harley is low on the totem pole with the fosters own dogs, plays well with everyone (older dog 6 and 9 mo collie pup), would be happier as an only dog or with just an adult/older dog as a companion. Harley does well with the fosters indoor cats as well but they are not shy of dogs. Harley may try to play or chase a cat who is more shy but she listens well and doesn’t seem to mean harm.
Harley is good on leash although does have some things to improve but nothing out of the ordinary for a young dog. Harley is good off leash in new places and knows her name well. Harley is very wary of strangers but warms up well when introduced properly and given the time to meet them.
Over all Harley is a young dog who would do well wherever you take her as long as you give this shy lady a minute to warm up! She has some separation anxiety (she was abandoned in a fenced yard) but is kennel trained and given some time and effort her anxiety could be lessened easily. Once Harley picks her person she is attached at the hip so if you’re in the market for a best friend to take on a hike, to a brewery/winery, to the family camp trip, or really anywhere this is your girl!
Harley is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
$350
Please call 360-518-9764
