Harley Pug & Dachshund Mix Portland, OR

Harley is a sweet senior dog who would like to have his very own forever family.

Here is what we know about him:

Harley is a 9 year old Pug/Dachshund mix.

Harley is a sweet intelligent dog who enjoys sleeping on his bed playing fetch with his hedgehog toy & following his foster mom around the house.
He loves his food & treats.
He especially loves his 2 mile walks with his foster mom.

Harley is a little jumpy & can get spooked with loud unexpected noises but he is improving every day.

Harley is a bit of a resource guarder.
His foster mom is working with him on that.

Harley does well with dogs & cats though he does occasionally chase cats but he never hurts them.

Harley would do best in a moderately active family with older kids 10 & up.
He likes kids just not little kids getting in his face.
Harley enjoys being outside with the family.
He doesn’t like being left alone (except to potty).

He does have some separation anxiety but he is not destructive just barks when left alone.
His foster mom crates him when the family is away from the house for more than a couple of hours. He doesn’t really like it but will go in as long as he has his hedgehog & a chew bone.

Harley is potty trained. Up to date on vaccines.
He is microchipped neutered & had a recent dental. He had some teeth pulled but this has not bothered his eating.
