He's friendly with other dogs (he adores his foster sister Tiki!) and plays beautifully with canine friends. He's also a dream on leash-walking with a loose lead and taking treats gently.<br/><br/>Happy is crate-trained and now sees his crate as a safe space where he can relax for hours. He's still learning how to stay calm outside the crate, but his foster family has seen tremendous improvement in just a short time.<br/><br/>Because Happy can still get mouthy when overstimulated-especially in new or exciting situations-he will do best with an experienced adopter who understands dog body language and can continue his training. He's a quick learner, eager to please, and thrives with structure, patience, and consistent boundaries.<br/><br/>If you're an experienced dog owner looking for a smart, affectionate companion to grow with, Happy is ready to be your loyal sidekick. With the right home, he'll keep making progress and bring endless joy to your life.<br/><br/>As always, we strongly suggest bringing any resident dogs in to meet Happy with staff.
