Hank -new pics!'s Story
Hank is a husky, low-rider, handsome boy who was taken into rescue after being picked up as a stray. He is a good boy who is chill when he needs to be and is a good walker to go on hikes, walks, or even runs. Hank is good around other dogs as he gets along great with his foster buddies. He is learning to walk on a leash and is doing a great job on that. He is also housetrained and crate-trained. We think he is about 4 yrs old, but still has the energy to play with others, but can chill and snooze on the couch with his human. Tank is very strong, so being around the kiddos should be monitored just because of his strength. Go ahead and apply for this low-rider so he can start planning for his new family!

Hank is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 months + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. Hank has been treated for heartworms and has done wonderfully. He is ready to travel now and would love to find his forever home! When he has his 6-month checkup, he should test negative as the treatment he received is successful in killing all the heartworms from his system. He is on preventative and should never be positive again! The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final before your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged for dogs that are adopted at an event or a foster home. This additional fee is necessary to comply with CT HB 5368.

WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you!

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
