Hank's Story

Hank is a 10-month-old brindle Mastiff mix with a heart every bit as big as his paws.

Back in May, Hank was found tied to a street sign in Sylmar and left behind. Despite that rough start, he hasn't let it change who he is. He greets everyone he meets with a goofy grin, a wagging tail, and one simple request: please pet me. If you're within arm's reach, he'll happily remind you that your hand belongs on his head.

Hank absolutely loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He's affectionate, playful, and has the kind of sweet, clumsy personality that will make you laugh every day. He already knows his name, can sit on command, and will proudly offer you his paw for a handshake.

Hank has received all of his vaccinations and has a clean bill of health. He is blind in his left eye and can only see out of his right, but it doesn't slow him down one bit. He has been evaluated by a veterinary ophthalmologist, who confirmed that his eye condition should not cause him any future problems.

More than anything, Hank deserves what every dog deserves: a family that won't leave him behind again. He's already shown that even after being abandoned, he's willing to trust and love with his whole heart. All he needs now is someone willing to give him the forever home he's been waiting for.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of slobbery kisses, Hank is waiting to meet you.

**this is a courtesy post.
