He arrived shy and unsure of the world, but with consistency and kindness he has begun to blossom — showing affection, following his foster mom from room to room, and seeking comfort from trusted people.<br/><br/>He is tender-hearted, submissive, non-reactive, and never shows aggression even when scared. This is a puppy who thrives with soft voices, calm routines, and adopters who understand that confidence grows slowly but beautifully.<br/><br/>Personality & People Skills<br/><br/>With Women<br/> • Initially scared and avoids approaching on his own<br/> • After about 2 weeks, he begins to open up and follow his person everywhere<br/> • Shows affection by snuggling close and staying near trusted people<br/> • When nervous, he flattens or freezes — never bites<br/> • Accepts handling; enjoys being held once he trusts you<br/><br/>With Men<br/> • Not specifically fearful of men — he is shy toward all new people<br/> • Deep voices, large builds, and sudden movement may startle him<br/> • Builds trust with calm exposure and quiet presence<br/><br/>With Children<br/> • No direct experience<br/> • Startles easily with sudden running or loud play<br/> • Not recommended for homes with young children<br/><br/>Dogs<br/> • Lives peacefully with a companion dog <br/> • Very gentle and not competitive; lets other dogs win<br/> • Avoids pushy, barking, or intense dogs<br/> • Prefers calm dogs or similar-size dogs<br/> • Has not met large dogs yet<br/><br/>Cats<br/> • When he sees cats, Hangwa shows mild curiosity — he may look at them or briefly sniff, but that’s the extent of it.
