Halo's Story

Meet Halo! She's about 5 years old, 25 pounds, and absolutely gorgeous inside and out. She came to us after a very rough start. She was originally found on the side of the road in a crate and went through a lot of instability before ending up in our care. Despite everything she has been through, she is still incredibly open, social, and trusting. It's honestly one of the most striking things about her!

Halo is a dog who is finally getting to just be a dog. She's done with all the chaos and ready for a stable, loving home where she can relax and enjoy life.

She has a playful, spunky side and loves to engage with other dogs. She'll happily try to get them to play with her and has a fun, silly energy once she's comfortable. She also has a history of doing well with cats. With people, she is friendly and easygoing and has done well with adults and children alike.

When you first meet her, she might seem calm and a little reserved, almost like she's trying to be polite and low maintenance. But once she settles in, her personality comes out fast. She has energy, she loves to play, but she also really enjoys winding down afterward for attention and cuddle time.

Halo is also working on getting a bit healthier and shedding some extra lbs, so a home that can support her with daily walks, structure, and consistent activity would be ideal. She doesn't need anything extreme, just someone committed to helping her feel her best.

What stands out most about Halo is her outlook. After everything, she is still sweet, still social, still ready to connect. She's a reminder of how resilient dogs can be when given even a little chance to move forward. She's ready now for the life she should have always had! Interested in this sweetie? Please inquire today!
