Halie's Story

Hi, my name is Halie and I am a 14 month old Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrennes mix. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, and up to date on my flea/tick/heartworm prevention. My interaction with humans was not good early on in my life. I was dumped down a dead end road and left to fend for myself. I was attacked by wild animals and had to be treated immediately upon my saving. After healing, I learned to become a working dog. I watched over goats alongside another working dog. My skills still need to be honed in, but I am a quick learner. I can be very skittish upon first meetings, so patience is needed if you plan to adopt me. I would work very well alongside other livestock, but must be introduced slowly. My previous adopters, whom found themselves facing an extreme medical condition, think I will make a good house dog as well, but they did not try it as they needed me to watch over the goats. I am very good at alerting when danger is near. If you think that you have the patience and understanding that it will take to get to know me, go to www.voicelessmomentsdogsanctuary.com and fill out an application so we can schedule a meet and greet.
