Hailey is a sweet and loving fluffball with goofy ears and a bright smile. A total snuggle-bug wanna-be lapdog, she's equally happy curled up in a comfy doggie bed. Highly food-motivated, she will sit patiently for treats, catch them midair, or find them hidden in a puzzle toy. She's smart and loves to learn new tricks for treats and has been working ever so diligently on the quiet command. She sleeps in her crate through the night but longingly wishes to sleep in the big bed. She loves going on walks and saying hello to neighbors, romping through the yard, and doing zoomies. Tiny but mighty, she will fiercely defend you and your home from insect invaders! Not sure about humans, though, because she's never met a stranger she didn't like! After losing her mom, Hailey is looking for her new bestie to hang with and shower with an abundance of love and affection. She does well around other dogs, and has not been tested with cats or kids.<br/><br/>She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. She has been heartworm tested and is negative. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of her care while in foster. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership.
