Gypsie's Story

Gypsie is a 9 year old puppy mill survivor who has had numerous puppies. She was a stray found sleeping in ditches. When she was scanned at the local animal shelter for a microchip, her owner was contacted and did not want her back. They had already tried rehoming her 3 or 4 times.

She is terrified of men. As with all puppy mill dogs, Gypsie is a flight risk, taking out anything in her path. She will bolt out any opening so a physical fence is required.

According to the people that found her, she is super sweet and does well with other dogs and cats.

She has never been vaccinated in the past. After having the opportunity to decompress in her foster home, GRRR will be scheduling a vet visit for her to get started with all her vaccines, senior bloodwork panel, any tests if needed and an appointment to be spayed.

If you would like to get approved to adopt a golden retriever, the first step to adopt is to read "How to Adopt" at www.gr-rescue.org
