Gwennie Boxer Haworth, NJ

Oh gosh, so much to say about this happy squishy bundle of pure joy... Gwennie was surrendered by her owner as she is dealing with a debilitating disease and I can’t imagine how hard that was for her to do. Her bestest buddy is a 25lb poodle, but she will wrestle with anyone willing! She is spayed and fully vaccinated, and ready to go home.

Gwennie will need another dog in the home (boundless energy, and to be her ears) and a securely fenced yard if that is to be the primary source of exercise. She adores children, but we do recommend homes with kids six and up as sudden toddler movements can easily startle deaf dogs. She will play fetch, get in the bathtub, go for walks and bike rides, and just overall light up your life.

As with many deaf dogs, she does not like to be left alone but does crate well if she has a buddy nearby and not for full workday long hours. Gwennie is currently 8 months old (born July 2020) and weighs 43lbs, so we expect her to be a medium sized boxer. She has a half tail but is sure to wiggle her entire butt in greeting every time you come home!
